In collaborative workshops <\/strong>with representatives of resource users\u2014such as cattle ranchers, miners, cocoa farmers, and others\u2014we first identify practices that threaten societal well-being or hinder the regeneration of vital natural resources, including water, land, air, and biodiversity. Then, we foster agreements to drive change in these practices<\/strong> and establish instruments that encourage their adoption<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

SLAT eval\u00faa los instrumentos, los cambios en el uso de los recursos y sus impactos sobre las demandas sociales<\/strong> y la regeneraci\u00f3n de recursos<\/strong> mediante una matriz de indicadores espec\u00edfica para cada paisaje.<\/strong> La herramienta emplea una t\u00e9cnica de estandarizaci\u00f3n<\/strong> que garantiza la comparabilidad global, respetando al mismo tiempo la singularidad territorial.<\/p>\n

Our methodology identifies the full set of <\/strong>societal demands<\/strong> (FSSD) within a defined landscape using a critical mass criterion<\/strong>. We assess the actual provision and measure it against the FSSD to derive the standardized Societal Demands value<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Junto con los usuarios del territorio, co-creamos una Lista Funcional de Agrobiodiversidad (AFL)<\/strong> adaptada a su paisaje.<\/strong> Establecemos una l\u00ednea base en \u00e1reas no perturbadas<\/strong> (por ejemplo, h\u00e1bitats seminaturales) y la comparamos con observaciones en \u00e1reas perturbadas<\/strong> (por ejemplo, cultivos) para derivar el valor estandarizado de regeneraci\u00f3n de recursos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
